What is the turnaround time?

Most orders ship within one week of receiving the order. We always try to ship within 2 weeks (or 10 business days). Our standard shipping is FEDEX or USPS so please allow 3-5 business days for shipping time.

How strong are the ropes?

All of our ropes have been tested and certified and exceed Cordage Institute Standards. Below are the breaking strengths:

	3/8" Diameter	1/2" Diameter	5/8" Diameter
Line only:	1,390 lbs.	2,312 lbs.	3,265 lbs.
Line w/sewn loop:	1,200 lbs.	2,100 lbs.	2,250 lbs.

 

Are the ropes soft?

Yes. The rope is made of solid braid polypropylene so it does not absorb moisture. This is also why our ropes float. Absorption of moisture will cause ropes to become dry and brittle. Because our ropes repel moisture they will remain soft.

How many letters can I fit on the tag?

14 characters, including spaces. The more characters you use, the smaller the letters must become to fit them on the label.

Can you embroider both sides of the rope?

No, we are only able to embroider one side.

Can I use a different color thread?

We always use white thread on black webbing. This has proven to be the easiest to read.

What size lines do I need for my boat?

Below is a chart of recommended sizes based on boat length:

Boat Length:	Under 20'	20' - 30'	30' - 40'
Rope Diameter:	3/8"	1/2"	5/8"

 

Length: Dock Lines should be about 2/3 of the boats length when used on the bow and the stern.

Can I wash the ropes? 

Yes, the ropes are machine washable and they will not rot or mildew if they are stored wet.
