Dock lines are just dock lines, right? Not if you have them custom designed, color coordinated and monogrammed with your name or the name of your boat. Just log on to www.myrope.com and look for the color (they have 17 colors from which to choose) and dimensions that match your boat. They'll design them to your specifications and splice them with a sturdy cleat loop and monogram them with up to 18 characters in one of two fonts. Order your mooring lines in a length approximately equal to two-thirds of your boats length. Spring lines can be about half your boat's length. For boats up to 24 feet, myRope.com suggests lines be 3/8-inch in diameter. For boats 25-34 feet, choose 1/2 -inch lines. For boats to 45 feet, MyRope suggests 5/8-inch diameter lines. If your boat is moored for long periods of time and unsupervised, or if it's often moored in turbulent water, we suggest you get the next size larger. We love our lines.
